Gratitudes (a new section in our weekly Newsletter!)
- Thank you to the PBiS Team for planning our fun Snow Day. Everyone LOVED it! Take a moment and thank everyone on that team!
- Thank you to Shannon Samuelson for staying all day in the snow with our kids! And to Valeria Piatt and Kacey Daugherty who also shared in the snow day fun! Take a moment and thank these ladies!
- Thank you to Vera Turner and Zack Allen who coordinated the Science Discovery Day at CNCC! Rhonda and Crystal took 20 students. What a great day!!!
- Thank you to Sara Linsacum, Rhonda Counts, and Crystal Greenhow for hosting an amazing iPad Parent night last Monday. The school was packed with 5th grade parents, students, and siblings. My favorite quote for the night "We are 8th graders and we have no idea how our 5th grade brother knows how to do this stuff".
- Thank our wonderful SPED paras: Frances McMann, Carol Morton, Cynthia Trout, and Ashley Yanick. Neither teachers nor kids could make it through the day without your support! Thank You.
- Thank our maintenance man Glen Rodewald the next time you see him. He does some pretty precarious roof maintenance in the snow to keep our school leak free. Take a moment and thank him.
If you have a gratitude for our weekly newsletter, please send Amber a quick email and it will be included!

Professional Expectations
Question:
What time does collaboration begin in your building on Friday afternoons?
Responses:
9/22 marked as soon as my duties are done on Friday
4/22 marked 2:10-2:20
4/22 marked 2:20-2:30
4/22 marked n/a
1/22 marked 2:30-2:40
Answer: Ridgeview begins collaboration on Friday afternoons as soon as Friday afternoon bus and outside duties end, which is usually between 2:10-2:20 p.m. When we travel for district collab, we try to arrive sometime between 2:30-2:40 p.m.
Question:
Is your Friday afternoon collaboration time interrupted by other activities?
Responses:
10/22 marked rarely
7/22 marked sometimes
4/22 marked n/a
Answer: Friday afternoons have been designated as time for grade level teammates to spend together in deep planning on the scope and sequence. There are times when Friday afternoons are interrupted by collaboration with District teammates, interventionists sharing data, stand up meetings, etc.
