A Week in Review

Math: We continued to work with ratios and equivalent ratios.

Reading: We continued with our Cultures' unit.

Writing: We continued to fix our argumentative essays.

Battle of the Books: This week we had our grade level battle to determine whom would attend the school wide Battle of the Books. Congratulations to the fourth grade team.

Science: We are now focusing on solar systems in our space unit. Students were given a Solar System Model Project rubric and guidelines packet. Please ask them to see this packet and go over the materials needed.

Kinder Buddies: We went on a scavenger hunt looking for leprechaun coins for St. Paddy's Day! See pictures below!

A Peek Into Next Week (Finishing Quarter 3)

Math: We will be working with rates within our ratio unit.

Reading: We will taking a test on our Cultures' unit. The test will be administered on Wednesday and Thursday.

DARE: We have a DARE lesson on Tuesday, the 22nd.

Science: We will be creating a plan and materials' list for our solar system model.

Social Studies: We will be starting the history portion of our research on our ancient civilization.

Reading Fluency: We will be taking our AIMS Web reading fluency test.

Grammar: We will be taking a grammar test on the concepts we learned in Quarter 3.
