Electricity
By William Rodriguez
Conductor
A material or device that conducts or transmits heat, electricity, or sound especially when regarded inn terms of its capacity to do this
Semiconductor
Substances that have more resistance than an insulator but less than a conductor.
Insulator
A material that electric current cannot move easily through such as air, plastic, glass, and rubber.
Comparing and Contrasting
A conductor and a semiconductor are similar because they both have electricity running through them. They are different because a semiconductor isn't much of a conductor. A conductor and a insulator are different because an insulator doesn't have an electrical current.
Examples of Each Word
Conductor: Copper
Semiconductor: Silicon
Insulator: Rubber
How You Find Each Term in Your Daily
