SOUTH SCHOOL
January 29, 2023
Dear South Families,
We had a wonderful week at South! Due to the storm last week, our third-grade Strings Informance has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
Thank you for sending all of your students in with their appropriate winter gear last week. They had lots of fun in the snow at recess time. We have quite a few "snowpeople" out back now!
Take Care,

FROM THE CLINIC
CLOTHING:
With this unpredictable New England weather, I wanted to send a reminder to make sure your children wear/bring appropriate outerwear to school. This includes a winter coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, and boots.
It would also be appreciated if you packed a spare set of clothing for your child to have in their locker (including pants, a shirt, and socks). Many children who need a change of clothing at school do not want to wear what the clinic has to offer.
ATTENDANCE:
This is just a friendly reminder to call the attendance line if your child will be tardy or absent, even if you have already emailed the teacher. If the teacher is in a meeting or absent, we do not know that your child will be absent/late. We are responsible for making sure all children are accounted for.
Attendance Line: 978-247-9801
OR EMAIL
ORTHOPEDIC INJURIES:
A Doctor’s note/order is required for the following:
- If your child comes in with a cast, an ace bandage, a splint, an arm sling, etc.
- If your child requires crutches, a knee scooter, a wheelchair, or any other equipment.
- If your child needs to be excused from Physical Education Class.
- If your child has weight-bearing restrictions, documentation from the doctor is needed as to what those restrictions are.
Thank you so much for your assistance,
Christina Lemonias, RN
