2019 Educator and Educational Support Person of the Year

This year, South Brunswick School District will continue the tradition of honoring our finest through the 2019 Educator and Educational Support People of the Year Recognition Program. This program acknowledges those who have inspired learning and made an impact in the lives of students, colleagues, and the school community with their caring support and unwavering work ethic.

We hope you will consider celebrating one (or more!) of our faculty with a nomination letter. Educators include content/grade-level teachers, special education teachers, specialists, and all ed specialists. Educational Support People include secretaries, custodians, bus drivers and paraprofessionals.

Recipients will be honored at a Board of Education meeting on April 15th.

Kindergarten Registration is almost here - Wednesday, February 20, 2019

Do you have or know of a student eligible for Kindergarten September 2019? South Brunswick School District will conduct Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. In the case of an emergency closing, registration will be held on Wednesday, February 27. Registration takes place at the elementary school of assignment. Please be sure to bring all forms with you at time of registration (this includes birth certificate, residency documents, immunization records etc). Please click here for additional information.

Embracing Your Child's Uniqueness: Turning Obstacles into Opportunities

Tuesday, February 26th, Crossroads North Middle School, 7:00pm


Parenting isn’t easy! This can be especially true when parenting a child who faces certain challenges, whether physical, developmental, emotional or social. This workshop will focus on not only accepting each child for who they are, but celebrating their individuality and uniqueness. Together parents and educators will share strategies for success, resources for support and suggestions for next steps with their education.

Update to District Calendar for 2018-2019 School Year

Please mark your calendars. March 19th and March 26th will be early release days for Parent/Teacher Conferences. (March 19th - afternoon and evening conferences and March 26th - afternoon conferences.) More information to follow with regard to the structure of these conferences.


April 18th will also be an early release day.
