Reminder: Our Preschool (Gordon) and Headstart (Tiller) classrooms only will be closed on Thursday March 9th and Friday March 10th.
We are collecting pastas & sauces for Food Pantry Friday this week.

Is your student interested in joining our after-school Spanish club? Mrs. Smith (Cullinan) will be leading a club after school on Wednesdays through the months of March and April! Students will be coming home with a flyer with more information on how to sign up. Questions? Contact Mrs. Smith: ecullinan@glnd.k12.va.us
BES will host a Career Day on Friday April 14th, 2023 from roughly 8am-11am. We are looking for volunteers to come into the classrooms and talk about their career with our students in brief presentations and students will rotate throughout the school so that they may see multiple careers. You could bring in props, present outside if you have a special vehicle or equipment to share, create a slideshow to display your work, etc! We are looking for a variety of presenters in different fields including but not limited to: STEM, Hospitality, IT, Public Services, Agriculture, The Arts, Finance, and so much more!
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Google Form that is linked below or look for a paper copy in your student’s take-home folders. Join us for the GCPS Fine Arts Festival! Details are below and a flyer will be sent home with students soon.

Place: GHS (Gymnasium, Auditorium, Cafeteria)
Showcasing: GCPS Visual Arts (K-12th grade students) & GCPS Performing Arts (4th-12th grade students)
Performances: “A Pathway Through the Arts” Concert - 5:00 PM GHS Auditorium
Featuring 4th - 12 grade students countywide
Kindergarten Registration
Beginning on Monday, March 13th, families may start the online registration process for kindergarten. Completion of the registration process includes a mandatory in-person screening at your rising kindergartener's school on Thursday, April 13th, 9AM-7PM. For more information, click here.

Please email beseagles@glnd.k12.va.us for transportation changes. All transportation changes need to be in by 12:00 PM.
- If you need to pick up your student in the office, please do so before 2pm. Pickup after 2pm should be done through the car rider line.
Any shared food items brought in for class parties must have an ingredient label.
