We are SO PROUD of BCHS student, Emma Summers!! Emma just committed to play D1 Softball at Loyola University Chicago!! Emma is an amazing softball player (and person!) and they are LUCKY to have her... Congratulations to Emma and Coach Greve! You still have two seasons to watch her play! She's amazing!

Congratulations to BCHS student, Ashley Masteller!! Ashley just committed to play golf for IU-East!! We HATE to think of not seeing Ashley around BCHS next year, but we couldn't be happier for her. IU-East is getting a great one!

Join us on Saturday, December 8th for one of the BEST events of the season! Old Hollywood Movie Night is a fun-filled evening celebrating the glitz and glamour of the golden age of Hollywood! Arrive in your best evening attire and walk the red carpet with family and friends to enjoy a magical evening of film, live performances, raffles, door prizes, refreshments, and more! The paparazzi will be here - be sure to stop by the Red Carpet photo booth for your special photo op! Tickets are $7.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Students and Seniors, and $3.00 for children 5 and Under. Event will be held in the gym/cafe at Brown County Intermediate School located at 260 Schoolhouse Lane, Nashville, IN 47448. All proceeds benefit the Brown County High School Show Choirs and provide opportunities for students to compete and travel.

The BCJHS "Reality Store" was a HUGE success today... thank you so much to allllllll of our student and community partners/volunteers for assisting with today's event. We couldn't have done it without you! Life was very "REAL" today for our 8th graders... Parents, be sure to check in with your 8th grader about this event. They learned a lot!

I was on the way to our Community Conversation and loved running into members of our Boys' basketball team (and their parents!) enjoying their team dinner last night... Sometimes our community doesn't get to see these special moments that happen off the courts/fields. These are the moments that make us proud to say, "We ARE Brown County!"💙💛

Our BCHS mid-term grads worked hard at the Brown County Career Resource Center. They used Naviance, the new college planning and career assessment tool! Successful day! Many thanks to the BC CRC for making this opportunity happen!

Thank you to Duke Energy! They gifted our Eagle Manufacturing program with funding to purchase a new lift. This gift will positively impact our Eagle Manufacturing program and our community by helping to prepare our students for the manufacturing workforce! We are so grateful for their partnership!

Mrs. Ely and her HES 2nd Grade Scientists are coding for #CSEdWeek! Their frogs need to get to the pond, but there are obstacles in the way. Computer Science skills are helping them solve this toad of a problem! Froggerr-ific!

I was SO impressed with our student projects and appreciate ALL of our industry partners who participated in the event by offering engaging activities for students and their families. STEM education is important for so many reasons... last night evidenced one of the many - FUN! :) Thank you to the BCJHS team for making this very special event happen!
