Class Lists
As the end of the school year approaches, we are beginning to gather information that will assist in class placements for the 2016-2017 school year. Please note that there are many factors which are considered in order to create balance and enhance the learning environment for students in each class on a grade level. Significant consideration is given to students’ learning styles, support services required, and identified needs in making determination for classroom assignments.
Although teachers do not make recommendations for specific teachers for the following year, their input is valuable through the completion of student data cards. If you, as a parent, have a specific reason as to why a teacher would not meet your child’s needs for the next year, please write a letter to the principal with your reason clearly stated prior to May 1st. We do not accept parent requests for the next grade level.
Class placement is a carefully thought-out process especially when attempting to balance a variety of factors. Once class placements are assigned, changes are not made because they upset the balance in classes at that grade level. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Early Pick Ups
Parents:
Kindly refrain from picking up your student(s) early from school unless absolutely necessary. Students are not permitted to wait for you in the Main Office for pick-ups. Calling the classroom early not only disrupts the teacher but also the entire class. The end of the day is crucial time for teachers to discuss homework and the next day’s activities. So please try to keep early pick-ups at a minimum or for emergencies only.
Thank you.
