iFlagler Knights

November, 2021

Principal's Message

November is the month to give thanks. I would like to give special thanks to the iFlagler Teacher of the Year, Cami Brocksmith, and the Employee of the Year, Nancy Gillotti. Both of these ladies are models of school dedication and commitment. Thank you for all that you do each and every day!

As the holidays approach it means the end of the semester deadline is near. Next week is progress report time. iFlagler will not send home progress reports, as students' grades and progress change daily as work is submitted. Parents/Guardians, please be sure to check your child/children's grades and progress. With only 5 weeks left in the semester, students should be 70-75% complete in all subjects, earning passing grades.

Students, I applaud your hard work and dedication thus far. Remember to plan ahead and schedule your DBAs in advance. Don't wait until the last minute and run the risk of not having an appointment slot. STUDY for your segment exams. Finish strong!

Parents/Guardians, thank you for your continued support at home. Please encourage your students to continue to work hard in each class daily.

Meet Cami Brocksmith, iFlagler's Teacher of the Year

My name is Cami Brocksmith and I am the School Counselor at iFlagler Virtual School. I have been an educator here in Flagler County for the past 14 years. Before coming to iFlagler, I was a school counselor at FPC. I love helping students achieve their goals for academic success, helping them effectively deal with a variety of problems, and inspiring them to do their personal best. I love working with all of our students and families. Some of my hobbies are going to the beach, watching or attending sporting events, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.

AND NOW: Nancy Gillotti, iFlagler's Employee of the Year

My name is Nancy Gillotti and I am currently the principal's secretary for iFlagler. When I joined iFlagler in 2016 there were only 2 others working in the office, Erin and Erica. It has been wonderful watching iFlagler grow and to be a part of this growth. I love to read and enjoy spending time with family whenever I can.

A Work In Progress

Currently, students from MHS, FPC, and iFlagler are diligently working on designing a logo to present to the community. We are excited to be on the path to officially become the iFlagler Knights! If you have an idea, send it to any one of your teachers! Submissions will be accepted until we find THE ONE!
