Ray Charles played a mean piano.
He was born to Aretha and Baily Robinson, an improvised Albany, Georgia family that moved to Greenville, Florida while he was still an infant.
Major accomplishments
Ray Charles had many accomplishments , one which he overcame heroin addiction, but as well revolutionized American music. He brought his own style with his music, and put his soul into his songs.
Overcame disability
Ray Charles had a traumatic life, witnessing his brother drown in the bath tub, to going blind at such an early age. On top of that he suffered an addiction, but despite all of that he overcame it all. He overcame it with his music and family helping him out. He died at the age of 73.
