Please complete: Returning student registration update
In order to streamline our system, we have moved our annual returning student registration update process fully online. This will replace the packets of paper forms that families were typically asked to complete at the start of each school year.
Now, families will simply log in to their Aspen accounts and follow the steps to update the information.
- This workflow will ask you to review the information currently in Aspen, such as address, contact phone number, etc., and allow you to make any necessary changes
- Families will also be able to submit health information and authorizations for students
- If you would like to receive text messages from the district along with our other communications tools (such as email, app, and the CrisisGo emergency notification system), please ensure that your cell phone number is listed in the field reading ‘Phone number to receive texts’
- Please complete all information as fully and accurately as possible
This video will walk you through the process of updating your student’s information in Aspen:
As this is a new process, some information will need to be entered only this year, and future years will be simpler.
If you don’t know your Aspen password, use the "I forgot my password" link on Aspen's login screen.
If you don’t know your Aspen login, send an email to help@monomoy.edu. For more information on Aspen, including tutorials, click here.
If you are not able to complete this process online, please contact the front office of your student’s school and they can help you.
We appreciate your patience as we put this new process into practice, which will reduce paper and increase efficiency for both families and staff. Thank you.

Ms. Picariello's 8th grade class studies natural history and conservation of local species
Students in Ms. Picariello's Marine Science class have been busy studying the natural history and conservation of a local species, the diamondback terrapin. Last week, we welcomed Dr. Barbara Brennessel (Wheaton College) to our classroom to learn about her research. Dr Brennessel collaborates with the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary to study populations of terrapins on Cape Cod and her work focuses on local conservation efforts to protect this threatened species. We thank her for visiting our classroom and sharing her research with us! We were then fortunate to have the opportunity for hands-on data collection when a newly hatched nest of 12 terrapins was brought into class this week. Students worked in groups to carefully observe and collect data for each hatchling. Nice job by all students contributing to a local conservation effort!

Interested in Aviation Maintenance Technology?
If students are interested in Aviation Maintenance Technology, please explore this opportunity at Cape Cod Community College.
-------------------------------------------------
What is the AMT Pathways Program?
Cape Cod Community College is home to the region’s premiere education and training program for Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT). With three hangars filled with real aircraft located at Plymouth Municipal Airport, our program has been building aviation careers for students since 2017, sending dozens of graduates into rewarding, powerful careers. With a need at both the local and national level for AMT professionals on the rise, we’re taking our program online so that we can partner with area high schools to create a seamless Pathways program, allowing your students to start training while still in high school. 4C’s has partnered with the Aviation Technical Education Council (ATEC) to build a two-year program designed for high school students which mirrors the current 4C’s current AMT program. Students in this Program take their courses online, remotely, and through our state-of-the-art “hyflex” model, which allows them freedom to learn under the watchful eye of an FAA Certified Instructor, including weekly check-ins, reviews and learning opportunities with an additional lab component that can be scheduled monthly or through a 2-week summer program.
Students that complete the program while still in high school will be on pace to: Become an AMT Professional on pace for employment opportunities ranging from $70 - $90,000 annually. Transfer to the 4C’s AMT Program eligibility to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) General Certification Written Exam, placing students on the road to a full A&P Certification, allowing for a 2-semester leg up on the certification training and process. Upon successful completion of the General Written Certification Exam, students: • Will have the opportunity to interview for employment at local aviation companies for part-time internship positions. • Will have the opportunity to use their certification to transfer to the AMT degree program at Cape Cod Community College or any of the other FAA Part 147 technical schools across the U.S.
