Take Responsibility, Always Growing, Better Together
August 25, 2023
A message from me...
Good Afternoon!
On Thursday I met with each of the classes to share and discuss our expectations for this year. While there were some nuts and bolts, the main focus was encouraging everyone to be the "Best Versions of Themselves" by owning their 20 square feet.
Over the course of this year we are going to learn about and practice behavior skills that help students respond in a disciplined way to events that occur in their lives. We do not control events but we do control the quality of the response. The better the response, the more likely we will receive our desired outcome.
I am looking forward to sharing and learning with our students and observing their growth over the course of this year. Throughout the year I will be sharing our learning and resources to help support our students and families with putting this into practice each day.
We will do it together slow, small, and daily!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mike
