A NOTE FROM DW

HELLO MEADOW RIDGE JAGUARS!!!

The damp weather continues this morning, but I know that brighter, sunny days are ahead of us. I don't know about you, but I have not always been my best self during this time at home. I have made mistakes and gotten frustrated, sometimes I've been a bear and not a buddy, and I've needed to apologize. I love my family, but this staying home and not seeing my friends is hard! Do you remember the two steps to an apology? Say it and show it. That's the important message of the week.

Until next time...stay kind, be brave, and remember...we can do hard things.

KINDNESS CHALLENGE

This week, I want to challenge you to send a thoughtful e-mail to one of your teachers. It can be short and sweet, or as long as you wish, but let your teacher know how much you appreciate them!

LET ME KNOW

If you need anything, please reach out. I'll do my best to find a solution. And remember, if it's urgent, the 24 hour Crisis Line 1-877-266-1818 is an amazing source of support, staffed by mental health professionals. Take care of yourself. -DW
