What does the term 'bandwidth' mean?
Bandwidth is the amount of data that can be streamed at one time. The amount of data that can be transmitted in a fixed amount of time. For digital devices, the bandwidth is usually expressed in bits per second(bps) or bytes per second. For analog devices, the bandwidth is expressed in cycles per second, or Hertz (Hz).
What does the term 'latency' mean?
In networking, the amount of time it takes a packet to travel from source to destination. Together, latency and bandwidth define the speed and capacity of a network.
What does the term 'buffering' mean?
Buffering is referring to waiting to load, for example a video when its buffering is pausing to load.
