Let's learn why lion's are endangered

Lions prey is large mammals, such as antelopes, gazelles, warthogs, wildebeest, buffalos and zebras, but smaller animals like hares and birds are also taken occasionally.

Lions are found in savannas, grasslands, dense bush and woodlands.

Why lion are endangered

The lion is the king of all animals, and the jungle. They are so strong that have no natural enemies. However, people kill them, and their habitat was taken. We are worried about their disappearance

Several of you requested a boy version of yesterday’s board so here it is! I only made a few tweaks, which hopefully shows how easy it can be to get a room together, and then just add some finishing touches to make it more masculine or feminine if your bundle-on-the way is a surprise. I love the West Elm pendant above, and it would also work well in a girl’s version of this room (and it’s considerably cheaper than the oh-so-pretty crystal one I posted yesterday.

Lion powerful teeth

African Lions vary in size, depending on their environment and area, resulting in a discrepancy in recorded weights. Lions in southern Africa tend to be heavier than those in East Africa, in general and lions in captivity tend to be larger than lions in the wild. Weights for adult African Lions range between 150–250 kg (kilograms) i.e.330–550 lb (pounds) for males and 120–182 kg (264–400 lb) for females. After the tiger, the African lion is the tallest (at the shoulder) and the second heaviest of the felines. Powerful legs and a powerful jaw help the African Lion in bringing down its prey and killing it. In addition, the strong jaws are equipped with 8 cm (3.1 in) long canine teeth
