FHHS Artist Spotlight - Mikala Cessac
Artist: Mikala Cessac
Favorite Medium: "I initially started using acrylic paint for my projects but I branched out into using charcoal, pen, and watercolor as well."
Sustained Theme: "My theme this year is named 'The Human Experience.' I am trying to convey the complexities of human life and how it is deeper than what is on the surface. I love painting people and their various emotions, so this theme was perfect for me. I also enjoy creating pieces, such as the St. Louis skyline, that are fun and relevant to me. AP Studio art is an awesome class that allows me to learn new techniques and grow in my artistic expression."
Works: You can view more works by Mikala below.

Limelight Theater Puts On Excellent Performance
The Limelight Theater put on an amazing performance Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night in the production "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." The musical is a comedy that centers on a spelling bee at Putnam Valley Middle School. The musical comedy highlighted many of Howell's talented actors and singers. The production was also Mr. Charles Mueller's last. Mr. Mueller will be retiring at the end of the school year after many years of running the FHHS theater productions. Congratulations to Charles Mueller, Karey Fitzpatrick, and the very talented cast and crew of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for three great performances.
