Microbiologists have to;

Study the growth, structure, and development of microscopic organisms, Isolate and identify micro-organisms for study, Conduct field research and investigative studies, develop new products based on research results, research human or animal diseases.

Microbiologists work;

Mostly at universities, schools of public health, or medical school, they work in labs, work under strict, sterile conditions, must wear protective gear at all times, work 40-hour weeks.

Being a microbiologist requires;

A Ph.D. a medical degree and completion of the STP (Scientist Training Program)

Microbiologists earn;

In the state of Texas a microbiologist will earn between $41,510-$88,800 a year.
