Elementary Distance Learning Update
4.3.2020
Thank you, Medford Elementary Families!
The teachers have a lot of great ideas to continue to engage your child in learning opportunities like what they would have had at school.
Below is a survey for you to complete. Please take a few moments to provide us with feedback on the week. We want to ask you what is going well and also how we can help you. We will be analyzing the results you provided and work to refine our practice for the upcoming weeks.
Please click the link below to provide us with more feedback as our Medford Elementary staff prepares their lessons.
What if we cannot get everything done?
We understand that you may have a lot going on right now. We are here to help you and your child through this journey. We will continue to provide you with learning opportunities that follow the expectations for each grade.
If you cannot complete everything each week, talk to your child's teacher. It's okay. We want to encourage students to try their best. We wish we could be there face to face to support you and hope to be able to soon. For now, all teachers are prepared to support you remotely or making a specific plan for your child(ren). We understand that every family has different needs and we are here to help you.

HOW WILL WE HANDLE SCHOOL ISSUED DEVICES THAT NEED REPAIRS?
WHAT WILL KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION LOOK LIKE?
Due to the Executive "Stay at Home" order issued by Governor Walz, the Tuesday April 7th, Kindergarten Registration has been postponed.
It will now take place on Monday April 13th and Tuesday April 14th from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Parents are invited to drop off their child's kindergarten registration packets inside the Medford Elementary entrance. There will be a bin provided marked "Kindergarten Registrations" and the packets may be deposited inside. Any questions or concerns please email Shelley Fitzgerald, elementary secretary at sfitzgerald@medfordtigers.org. Thank You
