Finish Strong!
Remember why you're here (purpose). I hope you have had the opportunity to recharge and reset over Spring Break. We have 10 tough weeks left and testing season coming up and I need you here at 100%. Your students need you here at 100%. Remember to do what you need to do to reboot yourself and come back ready to go each day. If you leave work frustrated and at 0%, go home each day and reset, clear your mind, and whatever happened that day leave it at that day and start fresh tomorrow.
Raptor
Staff, please remember to Raptor in and out as you come into the building and leave for any reason. If you are running late or are not coming in due to an emergency, let your supervisor know via text or phone call so that we can ensure students do not go unsupervised in your absence.

Shout Outs!!
Shout out to Ms. S. Polk and all of our teachers that modeled restorative circles for the staff. We look forward to seeing and hearing the results of great relationship building.
Shout out to Dr. Leatherwood, Mrs. Morgan (welcome back!!) and the ESL team for a smooth TELPAS testing session.
Shout out to ILT for their support with TELPAS!
Do you have a "shout out" you would like to share with the staff? Send it to Mr. Lopez via e-mail or text! Subject line: Shout out!

Cub Pride
Officer Perez
She is originally from the San Antonio area but was raised in Houston since she was 13. She has two children, a daughter in Junior High and a son in Elementary, and two pit bulls. She is married to her best friend of 8 years! She does not have a favorite football team and she is a Dodgers fan (Mr. Cesar has some support now...)
She loves to watch cartoons, maybe a little too much. When she is not at work she spends a lot of time with her kids usually doing softball and baseball stuff. She listens to a little of everything from 50s music to Tupac and Cardi B. She knew she wanted to be an officer since she was 15, it took her a little while but she is here 15 years later. It's not how long it takes you, it's getting there that matters.
Happy Birthday!
Tuesday 3/20 - Mrs. Sida
Thursday 3/22 - Mrs. Arrington and Ms. Lasker
Friday 3/23 - Mr. Hachicho
Saturday 3/24 - Mr. Henderson
