Community Service Day

Staff and students spent the first half of the day on Wednesday, September 21st, doing several projects around our community. Time was spent sprucing up Gross Creek, Coquille Point, Bandon Heights, Old Town, the sidewalks near McKay's, the Community Garden, Ocean Crest flower beds, the District flower beds, the Bandon Library, and the Bandon Museum. We appreciate the community support throughout the year, and are proud to give back. Go Tigers!

Student hand book

All of our students should have recently signed a behavior agreement form that acknowledges that they have reviewed the student handbook, and know what the behavior expectations are at HLMS. We would appreciate it if you could take a moment to review the student hand book (link below) as well.
Student Hand Book

Please take some time to review our student handbook with your student. We would particularly like you to remind your student of our expectations with regards to cell phones and appropriate technology use.

After School Plans

If you need to get a message to your student about after school plans, please make sure that you call our office before 3:00pm. Things often get hectic, and we may not be able to deliver the message before release.

Cell Phone Policy

Just a reminder, students are not allowed to have cell phones out during school hours. We require them to be kept off and in their locker or backpack during the day. This includes breaks and at lunch. Please encourage your student to come to the office or their teachers if they have a concern or need help instead of reaching out to you via cell phone during the day. This way we can help make sure that all your student's needs are being met. We have a student phone available in the commons that is always available.
