Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!
Dear AISB Teachers,
Today, October 5, marks the International Teachers' Day. I sincerely thank you all for your dedication and passion towards teaching and for making a difference in the lives our students everyday. Thank you for making learning an adventure, for your guidance as you nurture and inspire our students to be their best selves. Your creativity and resourcefulness in finding new ways to engage with students is nothing short of remarkable.
You may not hear this often, but I want to express my gratitude and admiration for the hard work you do to support the students and to improve our school. I would like to recognize and appreciate the extra time and effort you put in daily to ensure the safety of our students. Your dedication to the health and well-being of our school community is truly admirable.
I do hope that our AISB parents would rise to the occasion and recognize AISB teachers today for their hard work. Please send your child's teacher(s) a kind word and it will go a long way.
I'm equally thankful for your willingness to take on additional responsibilities such as after-school-activities and lead other school-wide initiatives.
We are truly fortunate to have you as part of our school community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Laura Viban
