Celebrating Your Parish~Sunday, January 28th: Mass at St Gregory's at 10am
Is your child in grades 1 to 8? Do they want to be a Student Ambassador? Please email lwarshafsky@sjp2ca.org if they are interested! Students will need to come to Mass in perfect school uniform. Some students will be greeters at the door and some students will read the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass. Please email me ASAP if you are interested!

We will have some special guests from the community to help support our project. Below are folks who have confirmed, there are still a few more RSVP's we are waiting for!

Please have your classroom make something to present to the guests that incorporates the Catholic Schools Week themes! Think of something they can hang in their office that will always remind them of the special day with #LowerMillsLEADERS:

We need items for our Blessing Bags! Please help! Our donations have been coming in slow.
May I ask that while you are out this weekend and over the next few weeks, you can pick up some of the most needed items to fill the bags:
- Gift cards to CVS, Shaws, Visa cards, Target, Dollar Store, Stop and Shop, etc (this will allow staff to go and purchase the items below)
- Gallon plastic bags
- Reusable bags
- Hats
- Gloves
- Scarf
- Warm Socks (wool socks, fuzzy socks)
- Any travel sized items you may have at home from hotel stays, etc.
- Tissues (small packs)
- Bandages
- Deodorant
- Bars of soap
- Comb
- Mouthwash (travel size)
- Tylenol (individual packet of 2)
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
- Trail mix
- Juice boxes
- Fruit snacks
- Dried fruit
- Granola bars
- Crackers
- Protein powder packets
- Beef jerky
- Baby wipes
- Chapstick
- Moisturizer
- First Aid kit
- Grooming kit
- Reusable water bottle
- Heat pack
- Journal and pen
No donation is too little! We appreciate all of the support.
Thank you to all of the families who have already brought items in, we are still in need to reach our goal of filling at least 250 bags!
Does anyone work at a hotel or do you know someone who does? They may be able to donate bulk items such as soap, shampoo and travel sized toiletries.

- Grades 2.9 to 5: Pajama Day
- Middle School: Dress to the Decades
- Grade 6: Living in the 70's
- Grade 7: Living in the 80's
- Grade 8: Living in the 60's
- No Homework for Students tonight
- Game Day! Puzzles, Board Games and Interactive White Board activities in the afternoon.
Grades 2.9, PreK and K1 will have an in-school Field Trip! We will have some scaly friends visiting from Rainforest Reptile Shows!
Wednesday, January 31st: Celebrating the Nation
- Students and Teachers-wear clothes that represent your culture/ethnicity/country
- Middle School Debate Teams are ready for the stage! Our school community will be the audience alongside our guest Judges.
- Open House for prospective families from 8am to 11:30am and 3pm to 5pm...please spread the word! If every family told ONE person, that would mean we would have over 300 prospective students!

Friday, February 2nd: Celebrating Faculty, Staff and Volunteers
- Staff Luncheon...do you bake or have a favorite dish you make? Today is the perfect day to bring in some delicious treats for the Faculty Room! You can't imagine how excited teachers get when they see surprise cupcakes, cookies and delicious treats!
- Faculty College Swag Day~It is never too early to talk about going to college! Teachers will come to school representing the college or university they graduated! Let’s talk to our students and ask them…where are you going to go to college?
- 1B will have a Virtual Classroom Experience with another Catholic School...I wonder which school they will Skype with?
- Grades 4A and 4B will Skype with a classroom across the country! I can't wait to see what another Catholic School is doing for CSW!

- Three prizes (Grades 2.9 to K2, Grades 1 to 4 and Grades 5 to 8)
- Prizes will be: Free TAG Day for your class, 20 minutes of extra recess time and no lunch/recess duty for the teacher for the following Monday!
