This Week at a Glance
WEAR ORANGE ON WEDNESDAY, OCT 20!
On Wednesday, October 20, wear ORANGE to show unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
Wear an ORANGE T-shirt, ORANGE shoelaces, ORANGE socks, ORANGE cape, ORANGE wristband...! #UnityDay2021
Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in October 2011, is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. This is a day when we can come together in one giant, ORANGE message of hope and support.
For more information, please watch the short animated video below from LifeWithRainbow. The video, created by a 7th grader, Medha, describes Unity Day from a student perspective.

Tri-County Regional - Open House & Informational Assembly
In most years, we take our 8th graders to Career Day at Tri-County Regional Vocational High School to view the school and to explore their programs. This year, Tri-County will not able to host their annual Career Day Trip. In place of the event, they will be hosting an open house for families on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 10 AM - 2 PM.
KPMS Ski & Snowboard Club
There will be a meeting for any students interested in joining the KPMS Ski & Snowboard Club on Wednesday, October 20 right after school in the auditorium. Parents should plan to pick up their students at 2:50 that day, as late buses are not available at this time.
- Registration will begin immediately following the meeting on the 20th.
- Students do NOT need to attend the meeting to sign up.
Students at the meeting will receive a flyer explaining how to register, and it is also on our website/google classroom: KPMS Ski & Snowboard Club
Please join our google classroom to get this same information and to receive the latest updates. Students may pick up the flyer in Mr. Allen's room (118) any time. You may contact Mr. Allen at allend@kingphilip.org with any questions.
