Congratulations to our STAR student, Tianyi Zhu!


Congratulations to Jennah Dabrowski for being a National Merit Scholar finalist!


Congratulations to the following students for being selected as Governors Honors Program Semi-Finalists: Jagraj Parmar for Math, Mason Pounds for Saxophone, Sandhya Pyram for Spanish, and Kylla Simpson for Visual Arts!


Congratulations to two seniors who earned a scholarship through the National Beta Club! 3,100 applications were reviewed from all across the country, and Brooklyn Oliver and Taylor Hall are the only two students from Columbia County who won one of the scholarships! Way to go, Brooklyn and Taylor!


Congratulations to Nalanie Brown, Taryn Hooks, and Sandhya Pyram for being recognized at Augusta University's Black Scholar Recognition Program. These ladies are the top three ranked African American students in the class of 2024.


Congratulations to the January Pack Pride Students of the Month: Bryson Bell, Candace Childers, Audrey Cowen, Lyric Drummgole, Jordan Epstein, Demarius Hill, Rilye Riggins, Cecilia Scheyer, Olivia Washington, & Julia Zanatta.

Hat Day this Friday!

This Friday, March 3rd, you can pay $1 to wear a hat at school. This fundraiser supports Ava Dhandapani and Gracie Treacle's campaign to be the Student Visionaries of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Stop by the table in the gym lobby or cafeteria lobby to donate $1 and wear a hat on Friday.

Student & Parent Portal

Student and Parent Portal allow students and parents to view a student's grades, attendance, missing assignments, and more. In fact, students and parents can view a student's 4-year course plan through the Student/Parent Portal. Click here for instructions to access the Academic Plan through the portal.


Student Portal:

Students can access Student Portal by logging in to ClassLink and clicking the "Infinite Campus - Student" icon. Please click here if you need to reset the password associated with your student.ccboe account.


Parent Portal:

You only need one Parent Portal account. If you have more than one student, your other student(s) will appear in your account. After creating your account and logging in to the portal, click on Today in the left menu, then use the drop-down menu in the upper right corner to select your other student(s).


Youth Leadership Columbia County

Youth Leadership Columbia County is accepting applications from current freshmen and sophomores until March 31, 2023. This elite program cultivates strong leaders. Click here to learn more.

Make-A-Wish Youth Leadership Council

The Make-A-Wish program in Georgia is seeking high school students to serve on its Youth Leadership Council for the 2023-2024 school year! Click here to learn more. Applications are due by April 1, 2023.

Columbia County Career & College Expo

The Columbia County College and Career Expo will take place from 4:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Columbia County Exhibition Center. Break out sessions will include information about dual enrollment, financial aid, work-based learning, and summer internships. Representatives from colleges, universities, and businesses will be on site. Click here to learn more and register. Summer Opportunities

AU GenCyber Summer Camp

Current 10th and 11th grade students can apply to attend AU's GenCyber summer camp. The residential camp is June 10th-16th at AU and the Georgia Cyber Center. Click here to learn more and apply.


AU Summer VolunTeen Program

Current 10th and 11th grade students who are interested in healthcare can apply for AU's Summer VolunTeen Program. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and be 16 years old by June 1, 2023. Click here to learn more. Applications are due by March 2, 2023.


AU SEEP

Augusta University will host a Student Educational Enrichment Program (SEEP) for six weeks this summer. There is no cost to participate in the program! All applications and supporting materials are due by March 10, 2023. Click here to learn more.


UNG National Intelligence Summer Academy (NISA)

The University of North Georgia will host a National Intelligence Summer Academy July 17-21, 2023. Applications are due by April 15, 2023. Click here to learn more.


GA Tech Distance Computer Science Classes

Beginning in the summer of 2023, Georgia Tech will offer distance computer science classes to students who are in the 11th or 12th grades. The application opens on March 1, 2023. Please click here to learn more.

CVA

The Columbia Virtual Academy, a Columbia County School District program, offers online classes taught by CCSD teachers. Students can take some or all of their 7 high school classes through CVA. Please talk to your school counselor to learn more about CVA. Click here to join the CVA waitlist for the 2023/2024 school year.

GAVS

Registration for the Georgia Virtual School's (GAVS) summer 2023 classes begins at noon on March 1st. Summer courses cost approximately $250 per half credit and are paid for by the student.


Registration for fall 2023 and spring 2024 GAVS classes begins at noon on March 30th. GAVS classes taken during the school day are approved on a case-by-case basis for courses we do not offer or cannot schedule at Greenbrier High School.


Please talk to your school counselor if you plan to take a GAVS course. Many GAVS classes, such as American Sign Language, fill quickly, so please begin planning now!

GBHS Dress Giveaway / Cinderella Day

On Monday, March 6th, girls can stop by Wraparound (beside the Media Center) between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. to find a prom dress at no cost.


Ladies - If you need a dress, shoes, and/or accessories for prom, please sign up to attend the Augusta Dream Center's Cinderella Day on March 18th. The event is free but you must pre-register. Click here to learn more.

Scholarship Spotlight

Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, you are eligible to win up to $40,000 in scholarship money each month now through February of your graduation year. To enter the scholarship drawing, you simply complete tasks like starting a career list, building a college list, starting a scholarship search, etc. Click here to learn more.
