Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Dear Pleasant Valley Families,
We welcome you to watch the Title I Annual Meeting for the current school year. Please click the link below:
Once you are finished watching the Annual Meeting, there is a short survey that we would like for you to complete:
If you have not already done so please return your child's Title I School Family Compact to their classroom teacher. Should you need another copy we have more in the office or you can click the link below to fill it out electronically:
Digital Title I School-Family Compact
Click here to read PCSD's COVID Protocols for 2021-22. Parents need to check their children for symptoms before they leave for school each day and keep them home if they are sick or exhibit any of the symptoms listed in the SYMPTOM CHECK area of the document. Masks are mandatory on buses and now mandatory inside the school. We will distance to the extent possible in the school.
Thank you for helping to make Pleasant Valley the wonderful school that it is! As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley! We are very appreciative of all of you! Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a great idea you would like to share, please email me at bokas@parmacityschools.org or call the main office at 440.885.2380 weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Very Sincerely,
Mrs. Stephanie Boka

Pleasant Valley Fall Fundraiser
Once again, Pleasant Valley Elementary will be hosting our annual fundraiser from October 5th to October 18th. We will be taking orders for cookie dough, pretzels, soup mixes, candy, and other delicious snacks. Catalogs, order forms, and Prize Flyers will be sent home with students on October 5th. Students will have an opportunity to earn great prizes. All proceeds to benefit the many projects and activities we have planned for our students. Stay tuned for a video presentation next week that you can view at home!
We need everyone's help to make this fundraiser a success.
Thank you in advance for your support!

Birthday "Treats"
Until further notice, we will not be having "treats" in the classroom. If a generous family would like their child to share a treat, we recommend a non-edible treat or one that has been manufacturer packaged that can be passed out and sent home at the end of the day. For example, snack-size bags of chips, Little Debbie, or Hostess made treats.
PTA News
We are looking for several PTA members to volunteer for our Pumpkin Fun Run on October 19th, 20th & 21st! A survey will come out next week if you are interested in volunteering for this fun event!
