Parents: If your student is staying after school for extracurricular activities, please make sure to have their rides here at the published end times for the activity. Additionally, school releases at 3:00 p.m. and the office closes at 4:00 p.m. There should not be any students still waiting for rides after the regular school day at 4:00 p.m. Late pickups cause anxiety in the children. It also trickles down and has a negative impact on our staff who have to stay late and miss out on their own family commitments.

Our Neighbors at Dove’s Point: Just a reminder that Dove’s point is a private drive for residents. Please do not use their road to pick your child up from school. We have had reports of people blocking access to mailboxes and driveways.

5th Grade Orientations: Our current 5th will be traveling to BMS for a short orientation from 9:30-10:45. Our NJHS students will be helping to lead tours during this time.

Just a Reminder

DAILY STUDENT SCREENING AT HOME:
Below are some friendly reminders to help keep all of us safe as we continue this school year. I have

The failure to follow the screening protocols, and children going to school without following the protocols is the greatest threat to us being able to: maintain trust, keep all of our students and staff safe, and maintaining/expanding our in-person teaching/learning. Thank you for partnering with us as we continue through this school year.

· For the safety of all of our students and staff, as parents, we need to make sure that we’re performing the daily screenings on our students before sending them to school.

· If you answer yes to any of the protocol questions, you must keep your child home.

· All of us need to do our part to make sure we can continue the educational models that our parents have chosen.

The screener can be made available by using this QR code.

Or by clicking this link: https://screener.wbsdweb.com/

Please note that if you answered yes to any of the questions in the screener you will need to keep your child home and follow the guidance provided by the Wayne County Health Department.

Take care Everyone, stay safe and stay WARRIOR STRONG!
