RES Staff Update

February 18-22, 2019

Monday's Agenda & Information

We are looking forward to a productive day on Monday. We will begin in the library at 8:00 for breakfast (breakfast tacos and fruit). The hours for everyone will be from 8 am to 4 pm. A detailed schedule is shown below. Dress is comfy/casual. Lunch is on your own. The end-of-day session will include a required training about inappropriate student and staff relationships and a meeting to cover other staff-related topics. We will have snacks for the last part of the day.

Chili Cook-Off

We are looking forward to our annual staff chili cook-off next Friday. Each team should submit a crock pot of chili, and toppings will be provided (cheese, chips, crackers, etc.). We will have guest judges tasting blind samples.

Prizes will be given to the overall winner, and all chefs will be given a Sonic drink and jeans pass.

This is also Texas Day for 4th grade, and everyone is encouraged to dress in their western wear.

Benchmark Testing Schedules

Please be sure to read the handout that Jenny Daniell placed in your box. There are important reminders for all staff.

Thank you!

Big picture

Superintendent's Fun Run & More Jeans Days

The Superintendent's Fun Run will take place on Saturday, March 2. You don't have to actually participate in the run to support this cause--The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation. There are various levels of support, and our campus will be recognized for participation, regardless of the level you choose. I am throwing in an extra incentive: If you register for any level of participation, you may wear jeans on Thursdays (March 7 through the end of the year) with a nice shirt. Early registration ended February 13; however, you are still able to register.
Sleep In Pass $10
Student Registration for Run $15
Adult Registration for Run $20
1 Mile Family Run $5

If you would like the easy way to register for the "Sleep In Pass", you can give Sally $10, and she will get you registered. Let's see if we can get as close to 100% participation as possible. If you register on your own, please place a copy of your receipt in Sally's box.

I want to give everyone time to look over their lists to make sure all students are included. With being out these last couple of weeks, I'm sure we have some new students to be added and maybe some students who withdrew. Please let me know of any changes that need to be made. I will add all grade level lists to this update; however, I am also emailing the links to you.
