CGE December Newsletter
12/1/21
Hello Cottage Grove Elementary Families!
Please check and make sure that your child(ren) are dressed for the weather….winter coats, boots, hats, and mittens (labeled with their name). Our children need to be able to withstand the cold temperatures during outdoor recess, or when on the school bus. Students will be going outside for recess every day unless the temperature is zero and below or wind chill temperatures are -10 below. When this happens, they will have indoor recess. Please see below for important information on weather related school closings.
Out with November and in with December! I am truly grateful to be working in such a wonderful community.
Peace,
Theresa
Weather Related School Closings
District school delays or closing messages will be on WCCO TV, KSTP TV, Fox 9 TV, and KARE 11 TV. Watch for South Washington County Schools, NOT individual school names! You will also find information posted on the main page of the district web site atwww.sowashco.org and on district cable TV. With our Blackboard Connects system you will receive an automated phone call with school closing information should it need to be cancelled, delayed or become an E-Learning day(details about potential E-Learning Days will be coming).
