Photoshop lessons- Maya Govindarajan
The main thing I did in this lesson was apply "makeup" using Photoshop. Utilizing the airbrush, layer opacity, color mode and soft light mode I made the models look as if they were wearing makeup (however wild and colorful it might be.)
Clearing up skin...
This was my first time making corrections on a person who didn't have much damage on their face. I learnt a cool trick, apply a Guassian Blur to the background copy, and then erase parts of (the background copy) like the eyes, mouth, hair, and small parts of the face. It looks a lot better! Also, I changed the lip color slightly and changed the eye color just a bit.
(Above) I layered the eyeshadow of various shades, as well as touched up "Lipstick" and "blush." I used a brush with presets with high scatter and small size to make glitter.
(Above) In this one, I only concentrated on the eyeshadow...
This was my first attempt, as you can tell. This was not a ideal picture becayse of the reflection on the face.
Before>>> Mermaid Makeup
This was probably the crowning achievement of the whole thing. She is supposed to look like someone put mermaid themed makeup on her. It took two and a half class periods.
