This program is meant to help Temple's residential community learn the true definitions of words that are used in the LGBTQIA community.
Goals of SAFE ZONE are to:
-empower residents to intervene in hateful situations
- provide them the knowledge and tools to better understand the experiences of LGBTQIA community
- encourage dialogue between the residents that may not be often talked about
- become allies for the LGBTQIA community
- provide information of resources on campus for the LGBTQIA community
