Tyngsborough High School
September 4, 2020
Teachers and staff returned to THS on Monday to prepare for the upcoming school year. It was a great week of professional development as teachers discussed instructional practices, building protocols and utilized many technology resources. Next week additional professional development will take place as we continue to prepare for students on Monday, September 14th.
The first day of school is scheduled for Monday, September 14th. This day will have Lakeview cohort students in-person and Winslow cohort students attending remotely. All remote learning students will also start this day. All students should check their school email for schedules as well as Google Classroom invites which have begun to be shared by teachers and will continue to be through next week. Students should contact their teachers directly on Friday, September 11th if they have not received an invite for Google Classroom for any Trimester 1 course.
Freshmen and Newcomer Orientation will be taking place on Wednesday, September 9th. The Senior Sidekicks will host the Lakeview cohort from 9:00-10:00 and the Winslow cohort from 10:30-11:30.
Please see below for information on student pick up and drop off, the daily bell schedule and an update on the SAT's. Lastly, if you have not already done so, we encourage you to read the TPS Reopening Plan and review the Reopening FAQ.
