PD Dates for Spring (K-5 math and 4-5 Units of Study)
Below is an updated list of Spring 2014 professional development for new curriculum and program adoptions. Some of the dates have been changed/added from our original plan because of the results from the survey for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades which indicated the majority of intermediate teachers wanted to adopt math next year.
We will need to have the enVisions trainers prepare our teachers and in order to do so, some dates needed to be adjusted. As you are planning to be out of your classroom (I would suggest lining up a sub as soon as you are able), please use sub code 053 for a full day for the appropriate dates below. All classroom teachers as well as resource teachers and teachers of ELLs should attend. Resource teachers and ESOL teachers should discuss with your building principal to determine which grade level would be best for you/your building. All trainings are scheduled for 8:30-3:30. More details and specifics on materials to bring will be emailed out approximately one week prior to the training.
