Parallel Circuit Info
The IV is the parallel circuit and the DV was the three bulbs. My hypothesis was if the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when 1 bulb bursts the other bulbs will stay light up. My hypothesis was correct.
Observations
An observation i saw is that all the bulbs were pretty bright when light up.
Series Circuit Info
A series circuit is a circuit where the energy only has one path to go instead of two or multiple like the parallel. My hypothesis what if i take one bulb out of the series circuit then the rest will go out as you will see below.
Observations
One observation i saw is that the bulbs are light up when all three are there but they are very dim. so if i was to use a circuit for my Christmas lights i would use a parallel circuit.
Data Table
Here is some more reasons in a data table on why i would use the parallel circuit.
Conclusion
So in conclusion again i would use the parallel circuit. One, because if one bulb goes out the others will still stay light up. Two, they are a lot brighter than the series circuit bulb. And three, It would probably last longer too.
