Carolina Northern Flying squirrel
By: Olivia Turley
Where from? What do they look like?
Northern flying squirrels are about one-third larger than the very common southern species. They are found in western North Carolina.
Why am I doing this?
They are endangered because of human impacts far outweigh natural threats and include habitat destruction and fragmentation or other alterations associated with the clearing of forests, introduced exotic pests, recreational and residential development, and pollution.
WHAT IS HELPING THEM?????
Not many measures are being taken to stop the Carolina northern flying squirrel from going extinct other than by word of mouth, the media and of course the presentation you are seeing now.
