The philosopher was Laozi . ' Tao ' meaning the way of life , taoism was the belief that life should be lived simple and in harmony .
The philosopher was Hanfezi . He believed that man was born evil and had to be beaten into goodness. He taught through strict laws and harsh punishment.
Goal of Confucianism was to reform society by showing princes and dukes how to govern wisely. They valued respect and the five relationships. Father to son , elder bro to younger bro , husband and wife , ruler to subject , friend to friend were the five relationships .
a religion based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama , other known as Buddha . This philosophy includeds the four noble truths and eightfold path , which say the rights of life and truths to except .
