Join us for an evening out!

You are cordially invited to attend the 32nd Annual Foundation Dinner on February 22, 2020 at the South Point Hotel and Casino. We need your help!

Please do not medicate your child before school to lower his/her fever and then send him to school.

A fever is the body's response to fighting infection, and your child needs time to rest and recuperate. It is important to keep your child home when sick for 24 hours after they no longer have a fever or signs of a fever (chills, feeling very warm, flushed appearance, or sweating) without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

Flu Season

While the timing of flu season is unpredictable, seasonal flu activity can begin as early as October and last as late as May. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people get vaccinated by the end of October, if possible. As you know, the flu vaccine can reduce flu illnesses, doctor's visits, missed work and school days, and prevent flu-related hospitalizations and deaths in children.

Thank you for leading by example by getting your child and your flu vaccine.

Fiu is much more prevalent and a concern each year; but some have asked about the Coronavirus:
