Cafe Service at O'Malley

O'Malley is in need of a cafe manager! This position is currently open. Please help us recruit to fill this position. Click HERE for the application link.

Being as we do not have a cafe manager, we will not be offering a traditional hot lunch. Students who wish to have a school lunch, will be offered a picnic pack, as well as shelf stable milk, and a grain. At this time there is no charge for picnic packs. We are not able to accommodate any allergies/food restrictions with the picnic packs. If your child has an allergy/food restriction they must bring a lunch from home.

Noon duties Needed

O'Malley is looking for noon duties to help with lunch and recess for our students. Please click HERE for the application link.

Arrival and Dismissal

When students arrive at school, they will go to their designated cone. On August 18th there will be staff around the building to help you to know where to take your child.

If you are driving your child to school please be aware of our drop off policies. Cars will enter off of Rockridge into the car pick up loop. Please pull all the way forward in the car loop. Please make sure your child is ready to exit the car upon arrival at the curb in the car loop. Students are to exit from the vehicle on the curb side ONLY.

If your child takes longer to exit the vehicle, please consider pulling to the front parking lot, parking, and walking your child to their designated line up cone. The front parking lot is not to be used as a vehicle pull through. If you are using the front parking lot, please pull into a parking spot and walk your child to their line up cone.

Staff are on duty at 8:40 a.m. Please do not drop your child off before 8:40 as there is no outside supervision.

The car loop gate is locked at 9:00 am. If you arrive after 9:00 a.m., please park in the front parking lot and have your child enter through the front doors. Our doors are locked from 9:00 a.m-3:30 p.m each day.

By the end of August your child will come home with a car pickup sign that has their name, siblings name (if any), and their teacher name. Please put this sign in the dashboard of your vehicle at pick up. Staff will utilize this sign to expedite the pick up process.

With abbreviated bus service, car traffic will increase. Please be patient and respectful to the staff that are outside directing traffic. Ensuring you are not in a hurry will be important in keeping everyone safe.

Big picture

Early Dismissal

Bussing

Those families that use the bus to get to school, I hope you were able to listen to the live community update on August 10th at 2:00 p.m. A letter was also sent to families eligible for transportation. With the shortage of bus drivers, there will be cohorts of busses during specific times. Each bus will have 3 weeks of service, and 6 weeks where you will need to transport your child to school. You can check parent connect to see what bus your child will ride.
