No School On Monday, January 18 in Recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
We have quite a bit to celebrate as we begin 2021. Among our many blessings, we continue to maintain face to face learning throughout our school, we raised nearly $115,000 during our 2020 Annual Fund Drive, and we are looking ahead to a virtual Mane Event that is shaping out to be great. Please continue to sell $10,000 raffle tickets and watch for the Mane Event Quilt Raffle coming home soon. The first $100 drawing is Wednesday, January 20.
In addition to our other blessings, Seton Catholic has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Catholic Community Foundation for technology needs. This is our second grant in recent years from the Catholic Community Foundation as we received $5,000 two years ago for our school book room. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and recognition of our educational efforts.
Once again, providing an exceptional Catholic education is a team effort. Thank you for all you are doing. We are unfortunately seeing an uptick in COVID-related absences throughout our building. Please don't let your guard down. Try to limit travel and exposures. Review the information below. Seton Catholic is sticking firmly to the 14 day quarantine period and testing information provided. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to the office. We need to work together to keep everyone safe and the doors open.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

COVID-19 Information
You may have heard in the news that the CDC has released options to reduce the length of COVID-19 quarantines. I have attached the Sheboygan County Recommendations for your review. Seton Catholic will be using those recommendations as listed below. We will maintain a 14 day quarantine as we are in a setting with many people and the potential for spread. Please be diligent with safety precautions as we are hoping to stay face to face for your children.
14 day no symptoms, no test option:
This is a 14-day quarantine from Seton School. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or the day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school without a doctor note after 14 days and if he/she has no symptoms. These days will be tracked in the office.
7 day no symptoms, negative test option:
Quarantine can end after day 7 of quarantine with a negative test and no symptoms if the test was taken no sooner than day 6 of the quarantine. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school with a dated confirmation of a negative test and no symptoms. The days will be tracked in the school office.
Please note that household contacts are handled differently as noted on the recommendations below.

Seton Faith Development Committee
This school year, the committee would like to begin work on the following three goals as determined by our Seton School Board.
1. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a comprehensive plan for faculty faith formation that includes at least one annual opportunity for retreat and and one annual opportunity for service by the end of the 2020-2021 academic year to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
2. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a plan for at least one student-led Mass at each of our three Northside Parishes to begin in the spring of 2021. (May need to be delayed until the fall of 2021.)
3. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will explore at least three options for parent faith formation to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
