Welcome back to an exciting term of fun, learning, success and progress. Yesterday was a wonderful beginning to the term. Welcome, welcome, welcome to all our new students and their whānau, it is so lovely that you chose to be East whānau. We share the same story going forward.

A huge welcome to Emma Deadman (see photo) who will be teaching in Room 21 this term. It is wonderful to have her as part of our team.


This term our goal is to further the engagement of children in their learning and your engagement with us. There is no doubt that Covid-19 has put a dampener on that, so we really want to keep in touch and chat. Please keep an eye on our HERO app, our Facebook Page, and our website (and your child's bag) as we use these to share learning, gather your thinking and celebrate success.


Please be safe and feel free to pop in and catch up.

Launch Pad

LaunchPad, which was known as Bible in Schools will be starting again next Tuesday 10th June from 9.05 - 9.35am for the Kākano (Rooms 5, 6 & 7) and Pihinga (Rooms 18, 19 & 21) Teams. If you have any queries or would like to see the curriculum, please arrange a time to see Mr Sheterline.

WATERPOLO AND NETBALL PERMISSION FORMS

A reminder that students who wish to play Waterpolo or Netball this term need to return their permission slip to the office by 3pm tomorrow Wednesday 4th May.
