NO SCHOOL MONDAY, MARCH 13 - FLEX DAY!
Message from Principal Jackson:
Can you believe we have reached the end of the 3rd grading period? It’s March Madness! Time is flying!
Don’t forget to spring forward! We lose an hour this Sunday with Daylight Savings time.
A reminder that per the district calendar, there will be no school on Monday. We have not had any snow days to make up this year, so this flex day is a day off.
3rd graders, rest up this weekend! IREAD testing will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Parents, a reminder that students are not allowed to text you or their classmates with devices during the school day. Please do not text your child as they will not be able to respond.
Thank you to our PTO for sponsoring After School Clubs! The kids had an amazing time!
ENJOY your long weekend!

MUSIC NEWS
March has been filled with sound as music in our schools is celebrated around the nation. Sponsored by the National Association for Music Education, the event focuses the nation's attention on the need for and benefits of quality music education programs. Schools and community groups celebrate with creative activities and events, based on a designated theme. This year's theme is "Music Inspires".
The FCE second grade students have been learning about diversity and acceptance. They will be presenting the musical “The Unity Tree” which tells the story of cats and dogs, who with the help of the young kittens and puppies come to accept that their differences do not have to separate them but can instead unite them!
All programs will begin at 7:00 pm.
