Why dairy is important

Dairy products are high in calcium, vitamin D, vitamin A, magnesium, zinc, and protein. Besides the fact that dairy is high in minerals and vitamins, it also helps your bones from becoming brittle and fragile.


Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak, lose minerals like calcium, become fragile, and break easily. Osteoporosis doesn't have symptoms meaning the disease sneaks up on you without you knowing. There isn't anything you can do after your mid 30's to strengthen your bones. That is why it is important for you to do everything you can to prevent from this disease, such as, building healthy bones as a child, having a healthy lifestyle that includes a healthy diet.
