Kindergarten through 5th grade arrival and dismissal procedures
Kindergarten through 5th grade students about the arrival and dismissal procedures.
All students will be dropped off in the back of the building. Parents that are driving can follow the route around so that your driver side is closest to the building. Please only allow your child to exit the car once in the loading/unloading zone. Do not drive around cars.
If you are walking your child, please use the back doors to drop off your child.
The only students that will use the front doors are students arriving on a bus or students arriving late. If your child will arrive after 7:45 they need to stop in the office to sign in and get a late slip.
We have many adults stationed at the door to greet students and get them to the correct location daily. In accordance with Unit 5 safety procedures, parents will not be allowed to enter the building with their child. We ask that you give your child any well wishes outside.
Any parent that has business to tend to needs to enter the building through the front main entrance. You would park in the front lot and buzz into the office.

Early Learning arrival and dismissal procedures
AM Classes
PM Arrival 11:45 AM
Buses will drop students at 7:25 AM continuing on their routes to serve other students in the district.
Support personnel will meet the buses and bring the students inside to their designated location.
Parent drop off will begin at 7:40 AM.
Parents will pull into the main parking lot and park.
Walk your child to the main front doors.
An adult will greet your child and walk them to class.
(This is one of Unit 5’s many safety procedures. )
AM Dismissal 10:15 AM
Buses will be in the bus lane.
Students will be walked to the correct bus.
Parents picking up their child need to park in the main parking lot.
Parents can wait outside the main, front doors.
Your child will be escorted from the classroom to the main, front doors.
PM Classes

*If you need access to the building you will need to follow the visitor process by ringing the bell and waiting for further directions from the front office.
