*****Important COVID Updates*****
Effective immediately, Columbus City Schools is adopting new guidance from Columbus Public Health regarding COVID quarantine. If a student is sent home for isolation because COVID symptoms are observed at school, all other CCS siblings and children in the same household will also be sent home for 10-day quarantine. This is an important measure to reduce the spread of COVID cases.
It is vital to keep your child home from school when they are sick to avoid this situation. Check your child every morning for any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue or being extra tired, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. If ANY of these symptoms are present, keep your child at home! Students may return with a parent note once symptoms have stopped for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medicine, like Tylenol or ibuprofen. If you're ever not sure, please call Nurse Jenny before sending your child to school.
If anyone in your home, or anyone your child has been around, tests positive for COVID, call Nurse Jenny right away.
