September Staff Nominees

PBIS IN FOCUS

The acronym PBIS stands Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports this framework has helped our building create a laser like focus on 3 key pillars (Respectful, Responsible and Safe) that guide our work as staff and students daily as we build a positive climate and culture focused on high expectations.

During the month of October we will be focused on being RESPECT. Students will be able to receive compliment tickets when they are displaying responsible behaviors in and outside of the classroom.

*****OUR SCHOOL STORE WILL OPEN @THE END OF THE MONTH*****

Enrichment and Intervention

Starting October 4th Livingston's newly implemented Enrichment and Intervention period will be used as a tool to help our students reach and exceed grade level expectations. During this our staff we be using data driven, individualized, research based techniques to ensure our students success.

*****Important COVID Updates*****

Effective immediately, Columbus City Schools is adopting new guidance from Columbus Public Health regarding COVID quarantine. If a student is sent home for isolation because COVID symptoms are observed at school, all other CCS siblings and children in the same household will also be sent home for 10-day quarantine. This is an important measure to reduce the spread of COVID cases.

It is vital to keep your child home from school when they are sick to avoid this situation. Check your child every morning for any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue or being extra tired, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. If ANY of these symptoms are present, keep your child at home! Students may return with a parent note once symptoms have stopped for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medicine, like Tylenol or ibuprofen. If you're ever not sure, please call Nurse Jenny before sending your child to school.

If anyone in your home, or anyone your child has been around, tests positive for COVID, call Nurse Jenny right away.
