Classroom Timer Lite
Classroom Time Lite is designed for teachers or anyone else who needs to set timed tasks for groups of children in a classroom or similar environment.
The engaging graphics and sound effects mean tasks get completed in a fun and efficient way.
The timer can be viewed from the Apple device itself or displayed on a larger format device such as an interactive board or TV screen using screen mirroring features of the Apple Devices.
The students can see graphically how much time they have left to complete the task.

Icebreakers
The Icebreakers app provides quick, fun activities for energizing meetings, classrooms, workshops and events. These games are suitable for kids and adults. Age is no barrier.
Icebreakers are a great way to warm up large groups, encourage shy individuals to participate, add color to boring staff meetings or training sessions and bring together people who are complete strangers. In fact icebreakers are effective in just about any group situation. This is a great beginning-of-the-year app.

Stick Pick
Pick a student at random just by giving your device a shake or tapping the screen -- but that’s just the beginning. Stick Pick suggests question starters for learners at different levels and also records how well students respond during classroom discussions. If a student is consistently scoring near the top or bottom, simply change the level so students aren't bored or frustrated. Depending on students' levels of English proficiency, they might be asked simple yes-or-no questions or to elaborate in longer sentences. Find out more about how this app can help you Differentiate Instruction, Track Formative Assessment, Enrich Learning, Improve Parent-School Communication, Support Common Core Standards, and more by viewing the app in the iTunes Store. This app is just $2.99!

Education Resource Center
We are going to spotlight the Education Resource Center this week. For those of you in the Searcy area, the ERC is a media center/library designed primarily for use by education majors, faculty, and staff in the Cannon-Clary College of Education at Harding University. The ERC also welcome and encourage faculty, staff, and students from the entire campus, along with area school teachers, and church members to utilize the beautiful facility! Virtually check in to see the latest resources, supplies, services, search the library, and the Common Core Aligned Learning Modules to help develop visual displays using the equipment in the ERC. Visit the ERC if you're in the Searcy area to see how the workers can serve YOU! The ERC hours of operation are listed on the home page. If you're a student looking for work, apply for a student worker or Graduate Assistant position in the ERC!
