5TH GRADE GALLERY WALK!
Fifth graders participated in a gallery walk this week to present their informational books to their classmates! They have been working hard on this project over the past several weeks. Students could choose any topic that they wanted to teach others about. They researched and organized their information, and finally created their own books!
On Thursday, both 5th grade classes held a gallery walk where students shared their project with their classmates and had the opportunity to view others' projects as well! Students even provided feedback to their classmates on their project, highlighting what they liked best and recognizing each other's hard work. Great job 5th graders! Your hard work shines in these AWESOME books!
NO PARKING!
The guidelines and procedures are not perfect and we often times have cars waiting for students in the parking lot, on the street, or in the surrounding neighborhood.
I have included 6 pictures where we cannot have cars parked because it impedes the flow of traffic and slows down the process of arrival or dismissal. It only takes about 8mins for the entire school to dismiss and the parking lot to clear.
We need to make sure the areas around the parking lot entrance remain open and not pinched down for the two way traffic.
The southern service entrance needs to remain clear at all times for SACC staff and maintenance vehicles.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

UPCOMING BAND CONCERT!
Our first full elementary band concert is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th at 7:00 P.M in the Fraser High School gym. Students must be in the gym with their equipment set up by 6:30 P.M. for a group warm-up before the concert. For attire, please have your students wear a white top, black bottoms, and black shoes.
Prior to the concert, please make sure your student has everything they need: instrument, book, stand, new reeds, etc. so that rehearsals can go smoothly. If you need help getting any of the necessary equipment, please don't hesitate to reach out--I am more than happy to help.
If you have any questions or need anything from me, please let me know. I'm looking forward to our first full performance of the year. Have a great day!
Thanks,
ATTENTION! PUT YOUR STUDENT'S NAME ON ALL BELONGINGS!
Jackets, Lunch Boxes, sweatshirts, hoodies, gloves, hats, water bottles, footballs, basketballs, playground balls.
All items that have a name on them will be returned the same day they are lost.
COLD WEATHER IS HERE!
Please be sure to send your child to school dressed for the weather each day. Students will start needing warm coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and/or boots daily throughout the winter.
Please take time to label each and every item- because our lost and found gets bombarded with lost winter accessories throughout the season
Please note that, per Board Policy, we will be having outdoor morning lineup and heading outdoors for our 20 minute recess(es) if the windchill is 10+ degrees.
Time outdoors is time well spent for kids, in all seasons!
