Pink Eye:
We are noticing many students with conjunctivitis or pink eye. If your child has discharge from their eye or the eye lids are sticking together, they should be seen by their doctor. They can return to school after 24 hours of antibiotic treatment. Students should avoid touching or rubbing their eyes. This can worsen the condition or spread it to your other eye. Avoid sharing personal items, such as makeup, eye drops, towels, bedding, contact lenses and containers, and eyeglasses. Do not use the same eye products for your infected and non-infected eyes.
CUSD Thought Exchange
Once again, CUSD is using the online tool called ThoughtExchange to gather your input. You will be asked to share your ideas then consider and assign stars to the ideas shared by others, to discover what’s most important to fellow stakeholders.
From now until March 24, 2023, you can come back to ThoughtExchange as often as you’d like to participate, and in fact, we ask that you do come back to rate some of the new ideas that have been shared since you first participated.
Your input is very important to us in guiding District goals, the LCAP and budgeting priorities.
Please click here to participate.
Attendance Matters:
Please make sure you call the office EACH day that your child is absent. If you do not connect with Mrs. Melinda Clay within 24 hours of the absence, you run the risk of having an unexcused absence.
Here is CUSD's Attendance Policy.
If your child will be absent more than 5 days, you will need to fill out an Independent Contract for Study. Please review procedures here.
Congratulations to Jennifer Slusher, VES Clinical Counselor!
