#BES1team1dream Levels Up for ALL kids!!!
Thank you ALL for the BESt 2018!!! Just think about all of the wonderful things we have to celebrate!! We survived construction, we earned a distinction and we PASSED the Fire Inspection...and those are just a few things on the list!!
I've NEVER been more confident and excited about the spring semester than I do today!!! Hold on tight!! It's going to be FABULOUS!! All of our hard work is paying off!!!

My Christmas break challenge for you is to NOT come to the school to work!! Stay home!! (Yes, the alarm will be set. LOL!) Enjoy your family, friends and days of lounging in your pjs!! You deserve it!!! I challenge you to do something unexpected! Don't make a plan for everyday of the break!! If you get too crazy....please don't post it on the books of the faces!! LOL!! Remember: some of the best things that happen don't make it on Facebook.
But wait....there's more to the challenge.... take some time for reflection. Reflect on your GREATNESS (personal and professional). Last year my one word was EMBRACE. In 2018, I made a commitment to EMBRACE the great things & people in my life, EMBRACE challenges, EMBRACE difficult situations (personal & professional), all of which help me learn and grow into the person I am! I'm proud of me!! My hope is that you are proud of you!!
What will be your 2019 word?

Team Shout Outs and Smiles!!
SHOUT OUT to Katie Ray and Aubrey Goodman!! Relationships Day was a HUGE success!!! Thank you both for leading the way and leveling up for the Bears!!! Can't wait to see "Journey to the mountain top" come together!! -Doolan and Halligan
SHOUT OUT to Miss Ezell!! She was a tremendous help today! She worked with kiddos in my classroom so I could get A LOT of BAS testing done today. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you so much for seeing a need and offering to help. -Padgett
SHOUT OUT to the Textbook committee and those who got sweet talked into helping with textbook selection!! Thank you for ALL of the extra hours of meetings and discussion to find the BEST resources for our kids!!! P.S.- I'm hoping you all brainwashed the rest of the schools into voting for what WE want!! -Doolan
SHOUT OUT to Adriana Gerbig & all of the relationships being built here at BES!! (picture attached) If you know anything about Adriana, you know that she's a "push through the pain" kinda gal....she doesn't complain, she works hard and gets the job done with a smile! AND...the job is ALWAYS top notch!! You may or may not know that she has a challenging mixture of kiddos this year. Adriana and Katy have pulled out all of their best tricks to meet the needs of these students. I mean they've even projected a picture of Luke Bryan in the classroom!! If that doesn't make you happy I'm not sure what does! LOL! While I know in my heart they LOVE these kids, I also know that some days these kids may be hard to love. The picture below was taken at dismissal after a very looonnngg day. I happened to walk up on Adriana hugging and loving on one of her "hard to love" kiddos. LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!! This picture is a testament to the relationships that Adriana is building in her classroom even in some of the most challenging situations. THANK YOU!!!! Just knowing that these moments happen daily in all of our hallways and classrooms make my heart sing!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! -Doolan

Mrs. Childers is the BEST teammate! Whenever one of us is sick or is going to be out, she always comes by and asks, “What can I do to help you.” She is always there to take care of our team! She is so caring and thoughtful! - Goodman
