A Note from the Principal
Dear Parents,
I hope every parent is ready for some Christmas cheer! Everyone is in for a real treat one week from this Thursday, Dec. 19. Our annual Christmas Program will take place in Moriarty Hall starting at 7:00. Our music teacher, Laura Flaviani, has prepared a spirited program for everyone.
ONE school yard gate on Irving Street will be opened at 6:15 for parents to park. Students should go directly to their classroom at that time. Because of the large number of cars, it is important to park the cars in an orderly fashion. We will have parent volunteers directing the parking that night. PLEASE FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS.
Once you have settled in to Moriarty Hall, you can sit back and enjoy the show. As usual, parents ARE NOT going to be able to pick up their child after your child's class performs. For one thing, it is rude to diminish the other classes' performances just because your child is finished. Secondly, we want every parent to enjoy all the work that went into making this program special. At the conclusion of the show, a parent must go to their child's classroom to pick up their child. Students ARE NOT allowed to leave the classroom and walk over to their parent's car after the show is over. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NEXT DAY, DEC. 20, IS A 12:30 dismissal day and a non-academic day so the students will NOT need to get to bed at their usual time. The students might be a little more tired, and so will all the teachers and parents, but it is a fun day with Santa and the elves visiting. We hope that you will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy our school's 100th Christmas Program Celebration!!!
CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 100 YEARS
SAVE THE DATE!!! Our Centennial Gala will be held on February 1, 2020 to celebrate our 100 years of educating students in the Catholic tradition. The venue for this event is the Embassy Suites Hotel in the beautiful Waterfront of Burlingame. There will be a reception on Friday night for those staying at the hotel that evening. On Sunday, the celebration will culminate in Mass and Open House starting at 11:00. For tickets and more information, see the Centennial website.
