Comprehensive Guidance Program
My role as your school counselor is to advocate and provide support to the entire Bolivar Primary School family, while maximizing student potential and academic achievement. I collaborate closely with administrators, staff, families, and the community to ensure all students are porvided teh opportunity to reach their fullest poential, both academically and personally.

Guidance Curriculum
BPS guidance curriculum focuses on teaching Life Skills such as:

- Bully Prevention

- Interpersonal Relationships
Responsive Services
BPS responsive services include:
- Crisis Counseling
- Small Groups
- Individual Counseling
- Conflict Management
Individual Student Planning
The individual planning component will help with students:
- Assessments
- Academic assistance
- Behavior plans
System Support
Our system support component describes services and management actives such as:
- Consultation with teacher and administrators
- Support parent education
- Support community relations
- Implement state and local standardized testing
- Program development t and management
- Improve policies/guidelines
- Provide parental resources
Sandy Simpson, MS
Mrs. Simpson is a graduate of Drury University with undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Criminology. she has a graduate degree from Drury University in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Simpson is currently a student at Evangel University. This will be Mrs. Simpson's third year as the counselor at BPS. Prior to working at BPS Mrs. Simpson worked for the Department of Social Services.
