I hope your child's first week back at school was a memorable one! It sure was for Mrs. Hagins and I. Our staff was so excited to welcome back students this year! We appreciate your patience as our construction crew finishes up last minute touches, including our air conditioner.

As we go into next week, we have some exciting events. We hope to see you at our PATT event on Wednesday, September 7th! Take the night off from making dinner and 10 percent of all your purchases (if you mention Elmwood School) from 4:30pm-7:30pm will be donated back our school.

All absences must be reported by 9 AM, so if you child will not be here, please use your Powerschool App or email ewattendance@epcusd401.org with your child's name, teacher's name, reason for absence and the dates they will be absent. Thank you!

Please note, we recently had a change to our lunch prices. Lunch will be 2.75 daily for a student and breakfast is free for all students. Any student who would like breakfast should go to the cafeteria right when they enter the building starting at 8:20.

Also, please make sure to communicate with your child if you wish them only to have their lunch from home. Due to Illinois Laws, we cannot deny your child a lunch if they request one. This is an adjustment for all of our students as we return to pre-pandemic pricing, so be sure to discuss the change with your child.
